Stanyl® PA46, a high-performance polyamide from Envalior helps address performance related issues that are sometimes occurring in compact gears used in demanding consumer goods applications. With superior temperature performance, high fatigue strength and low friction and low wear, Stanyl® PA46 outperforms many other engineering plastics used in gears, such as POM (acetal), PA66, and PPA, delivering up to 50% more gear life performance.
