Today most of the caprolactam is used for the production of fibers and filaments made of Polyamide 6, used in the textile and other industries.

Our unreinforced PA6 portfolio covers virtually all possible applications with grades suitable for all processing techniques, including extrusion, injection and blow molding.

Ammonium sulfate is a by-product from caprolactam. LANXESS serves the Ammonium sulfate as solid and solution.

Sulphuric Acid (H2SO4) is a strong mineral acid and is produced in our Antwerp site. It is soluble in water at all concentrations.
