Envalior highlights safer, lighter and more sustainable materials at Plástico Brasil 2025

Envalior showcased its high-performance materials at Plástico Brasil 2025, focusing on sustainability and innovation. The company highlighted products like EcoPaXX®, TEPEX®, and Stanyl® for industries such as automotive and healthcare. Envalior’s solutions support sustainability goals and enhance product performance, with a local production facility in Brazil to serve the Latin American market.

Envalior participated in Plástico Brasil 2025, held March 24–28 at the São Paulo Expo, showcasing its latest portfolio of high-performance engineering materials. The event provided an opportunity for visitors to explore Envalior’s solutions and engage in discussions around sustainability, product performance, and evolving manufacturing needs.

From automotive and electronics to healthcare and consumer goods, Envalior’s materials are enabling manufacturers to rethink how products are designed—offering smarter, lighter, and greener solutions to meet today’s most pressing challenges.

“At Plástico Brasil, we were able to demonstrate how our advanced material solutions—like high-temperature polyamides and lightweight composites—are addressing real engineering challenges across industries,” said Anderson Marostica, Envalior Technical Senior Manager. “Whether it’s improving thermal performance in EV or hybrid components or reducing part weight without compromising strength, our portfolio is engineered to help manufacturers push the boundaries of what’s possible.”

Real-world innovation on display

The booth showcased how Envalior’s materials are powering innovations in hydrogen storage, EV battery housing, lightweight vehicle components, sustainable kitchenware, and medical devices. Attendees were particularly drawn to the tangible product applications, which demonstrated not just the science behind the materials, but their real-world potential.

“Our goal is to help manufacturers succeed in a competitive global market while meeting the growing demand for sustainable solutions,” said Jose Chirino, Envalior Americas Technical Director. “Plástico Brasil was a great opportunity to connect with industry leaders who are ready to take the next step toward innovation and sustainability.”

Spotlight on key materials

Throughout the event, Envalior's technical experts guided attendees through the strengths and unique benefits of their flagship solutions:

  • EcoPaXX® (PA410) – A biobased engineering plastic made from castor plants, EcoPaXX® is about 70% renewable and offers a significantly lower carbon footprint, ideal for companies looking to enhance sustainability without sacrificing performance.
  • TEPEX® (thermoplastic composites) – Designed for lightweight durability, this advanced composite material combines strength and rigidity with ultra-low weight, making it ideal for applications like automotive structures and sports equipment.
  • DURETHAN® (PA6 & PA66) – Known for its exceptional heat and chemical resistance, DURETHAN® is the go-to solution for demanding automotive and electronic applications.
  • Stanyl® (PA46) – A high-temperature polyamide that enables the creation of thinner, smaller, yet highly durable parts, perfect for compact, high-performance designs.
