Deze groep materialen is het meest geschikt voor toepassingen die worden blootgesteld aan hogere hitte en die dimensionale stabiliteit moeten behouden terwijl ze worden blootgesteld aan agressieve chemicaliën. Typische toepassingen zijn onder meer waaiers van koelvloeistofpompen, bovenste en onderste delen van de radiateur en uitlaatgaspompsystemen.
