Productie met PEBA produceert ook geldefecten die spanning stijgleidingen in dunwandige componenten en potentiële faalpunten creëren.
De keuze voor PEBA kan ook leiden tot kwaliteit problemen tijdens de productie. Katheterslangen gemaakt van de materiaal hebben de neiging om een hoge variatie in extrusiegedrag te vertonen, wat hoge uitvalpercentages oplevert.
